Huskeys Raises $27M Series A, Led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, to Redefine How Organizations Manage Edge Security

The Series A round brings Huskeys’ total funding raised to $35 million as the company builds a Network Edge Security Management platform designed to help organizations secure increasingly complex and dynamic edge environments at scale in the agentic AI era.

Huskeys, a cybersecurity company building the first Network Edge Security Management (NESM), today announced a $27 million Series A led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, bringing the company’s total funding raised to date to $35 million, following an $8 million seed round. Other investors in the round included Merlin Ventures, Skinos Ventures (Shlomo Kramer and Yishay Yovel, pioneers of the WAF and SASE categories), Zscaler Ventures, Okta Ventures, Bright Pixel Capital, and SV Angel, as well as individual investors including WAF and CAPTCHA inventor Eran Reshef and executives from organizations including Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, Check Point, AWS, Google, Microsoft, and Intel.

Its customer base includes leading global brands such as TikTok, LEGOLAND, Ro, Blackstone, and Hugging Face, with Huskeys already analyzing more than a trillion web requests and thousands of network configurations every day across organizations worldwide.

Modern organizations secure their applications across an expanding mix of cloud providers, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), and other edge services, creating fragmented environments that are becoming increasingly complex to manage. At the same time, AI is fundamentally changing internet traffic from both sides. Autonomous agents are becoming legitimate users of applications, while attackers are using AI to discover and exploit vulnerabilities faster than ever before. This shift is only accelerating, with non-human traffic expected to account for 70% of all web traffic by 2027.
Together, these changes are creating a new reality at the network edge – one that requires organizations to rethink how they manage, understand, and secure internet traffic.

Huskeys is building a new category, Network Edge Security Management (NESM), that provides a unified intelligence and control layer across the modern network edge, enabling organizations to continuously understand, adapt, and enforce security without replacing existing infrastructure.

“Organizations are managing increasingly complex and fragmented technology environments at a time when artificial intelligence is also transforming both traffic and cyber threats. Huskeys is taking a differentiated approach to this problem by enabling unified security management across existing technologies. We believe in the relevance and distinctiveness of this approach and are very pleased to support the team in this next stage of growth in a critical area of cybersecurity,” says Marcos de Castro Osório, Director at Bright Pixel Capital.

“The way organizations secure internet-facing applications is fundamentally changing. AI-driven traffic and increasingly fragmented edge environments require a new approach to security management,” said Adam Fletcher, Chief Information Security Officer at Blackstone. “Huskeys has built a platform designed to operate at enterprise scale while advancing a new category for the modern network edge. We believe the company is well positioned to redefine how organizations manage edge security, and we’re excited to support Huskeys as they continue to develop their product in this important category.”

The Edge Has Become More Complex

As cloud, security, and network environments become increasingly fragmented and applications become more dynamic and AI-driven, security teams struggle to determine whether their controls are effective, adapt policies to evolving threats, and deploy security changes without disrupting legitimate business traffic. The stakes are high: block the wrong traffic, and you risk losing customers and revenue; let the wrong traffic through, and you expose the organization to attacks.

AI agents are creating new patterns of legitimate, autonomous interaction with applications, while attackers are increasingly using AI-driven capabilities to identify and exploit vulnerabilities faster. Developments such as Mythos demonstrate how AI-driven capabilities are accelerating the speed and scale of cyber threats.

The result is a growing gap between the complexity of modern edge environments and the ability of security teams to manage them effectively. Organizations must strengthen security while minimizing false positives, maintaining business continuity, and protecting revenue-critical applications.

A Unified Management Layer for the Modern Edge

Huskeys is building a Network Edge Security Management (NESM) platform that operates on top of an organization’s existing network infrastructure. Rather than replacing existing investments, the platform connects and orchestrates the modern network edge ecosystem, including CDNs and WAFs, cloud-native security solutions, and network components such as load balancers, VPCs, and security groups.

Through its patented Unified Data Model (UDM), Huskeys creates a common layer of understanding across different environments, technologies, and providers. This allows security insights, policies, and actions to move seamlessly across platforms, supporting multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments while helping organizations maintain consistent security from the Internet Edge all the way to the application.

Capabilities including continuous posture assessment, dynamic policy generation, orchestration, and Virtual Patching help organizations respond to emerging threats faster. Virtual Patching allows security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities directly at the network edge within minutes, providing protection. At the same time, a permanent fix is being developed, tested, and deployed in the application code.

The platform also helps organizations identify, understand, and manage agentic traffic – enabling legitimate AI agents to interact with applications while reducing security risk, false positives, and disruption to the business.

“We founded Huskeys because security teams are being asked to protect increasingly complex edge environments with legacy tools that were never designed to work together or to address the challenges of the new AI era,” said Itai Gafni, CEO and Co-Founder of Huskeys. “Every business today runs through its network edge – that’s where your customers, your revenue, and your threats all meet, yet for most organizations, that edge works against them instead of for them. As AI transforms both legitimate traffic and cyberattacks, organizations need an intelligence layer that continuously understands what’s happening across the edge and adapts security in real time. Our goal is to make the network finally work for the business, not against it. That’s the category we’re building.”

About Huskeys

Huskeys is building a Network Edge Security Management (NESM) platform designed to help organizations understand, manage, and secure increasingly complex network edge environments in the agentic AI era. By connecting and orchestrating existing CDNs, WAFs, cloud security, and network edge technologies through a unified agentic layer, Huskeys gives organizations continuous assessment and the ability to dynamically adapt policies, reduce exposure, and protect business-critical applications at scale, all while minimizing false positives and maintaining business continuity.
